Thanks for the good food 🥘 Service is definitely a top priority here! Have ordered several meals to be picked up and given a time when we should be there. The time window was ok - 15 minutes of waiting is certainly manageable with the high volume of orders. Even more if you can enjoy the lake view :-) Got another record borrowed for which we didn't even have to leave a deposit, but rather bring it back on a trust basis 👌 The food was perfect in terms of taste and quality - will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had the Hirsch burger and the Bachsaibling Fisch. Both were tasty. Atmosphere was homey on the rainy day we were there. Definitely recommend

Top restaurant by the lake. They have a nice terrace to sit and enjoy your food and drinks by the lake. The view is amazing. The food selection is really good. Also the beer and wine options are many! We took 2 pig snitchel with potatoes and 2 beers and we paid 38€ including tip. The price is very fair for the spot. They have a parking spot that you can use for free as long as you are a customer.

As always after a visit to the Königssee, we stopped here and enjoyed the atmosphere of this great location. The menu is well sorted and extensive with Bavarian delicacies. The drinks and food were served "in normal time" - that is, exactly right. The food was very rich and above all very tasty. A visit is definitely worth it !!!! I have no idea how the store gets these reviews. Sorry, but either they are bought or the people have no taste. Cold soup, sauce for the fillet plate from a can. Two small pieces of meat ... At 18.90 per plate I expect something different. Better go eat elsewhere.

Located on Königsee, below the bobsleigh and toboggan run. Wonderful view over the lake. Attentive and friendly service. Very good menu we all enjoyed it very much.

The view is really sensational. You could really linger here for hours. The service is very professional and friendly. We only took a short break with white sausage and dessert. Therefore, I can not judge the finesse of the kitchen 100%. I definitely want to test that again and also the smoked fish. It was a really pleasant stay.

Nice location on the lake, friendly service. Had the family record-is not recommended. Salad with several brown spots, some pieces of meat tasted strange, so we had to send them back.

Disgusting communication with visitors, aggressive staff, overpriced

The restaurant is in one of the best locations to relax.... right next to the lake from where ferries start. There were 3-4 vegetarian options and we ordered all 4 of them. To our pleasant surprise, by far, this is one of the very few restaurants in Europe where Vegetarian food was so wonderful. Curry rice was the best I had tasted in a long time! So far so that we thought of visiting this place again the next day. The staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. Price of the food is reasonable too. Parking near the place could be tricky as the parking space gets full quickly. Awesome location & an awesome food !

Very well located restaurant with good food and prices. There are many places on the lake terrace with an unbeatable view of the lake. Service is very friendly and there is a wide range. The schnitzel is absolutely fine, the potato salad could be better. The portions are generous for that. The fish dishes are highly recommended. Judging by the tourist environment and the great location, the prices are fair.

Very good food and great location on the Königssee, with a view over the lake to the waterfall. Big tasty portions that are worth their price! Friendly nice staff. On the day of our visit it was full but not overrun. Come again.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Service courteous and nice. Food came to the table quickly and was delicious for both of us. We were there on the recommendation of our host family and can only pass this recommendation on.

The restaurant is located on the banks of the Königssees and is always well attended - so it is best to reserve in advance. Important: Say that you would like to sit directly at the lake, otherwise you will be placed in the second row. The food tastes good, but I've also eaten better. Prices are ok for the location and the high tourist traffic. Parking is on site, card payment is possible.

The worst restaurant

Nice place with good food (portions are sized like in all touristy places) But when me and my girlfriend wanted to order a "Familiy grill plate", they told us we cant have it because we dont have any kids with us! So I wouldnt go there again...

Great location right on the Königsee. The people are in line and the employees are very stressed but nice. The onion roast was 2 thin, well-done pieces. Tasty ok but not freshly prepared. The prices are good despite the top location and tourist location.

Visit for the location, go elsewhere for anything else. Walked into this tourist trap with eyes wide open. Food OK to good, prices fair for the location. Service very distracted and confused, hard to get a hold of the impatient and busy waiters. We were 4 people - 2 of us had our salads served once we had finished main dish.

Right at the bobsleigh run and with a wonderful view of the Königsee. Delicious food and nice service. You should reserve with several lines. In the evening the restaurant is in the shade and the water cools it down a little faster. Recommendable!

Ate 3 trout there. Were fried in a lot of oil. Supplement manageable. Service well, hospitality is something else. You probably got back to routine very quickly and forgot that you are dependent on guests. Too bad because the location is really nice.

Wonderful location, slightly secluded from the busy area and with a spectacular view of the lake. Good service, nice variety of food.

Roasted pork with the cabbage and Königssee fish are the main dishes we ordered. Both are so good. Pork is roasted perfectly, tender and juicy. The purple cabbage is just nicely sour. The fish is zero mud flavor. Normally the fresh water fish always have little mud taste. That’s so perfect no mud. The most surprised is the dessert. Crepe with vanilla ice cream. Make the meal unbeatable.

It's not the best Schnitzel I've had, but it's the best one you'll find in the area without all the tourists pushing you around. They have their own little parking space, so it's definitely worth avoiding the gigantic parking lot (where you have to pay) and just head over to this side of the lake and have a Schnitzel directly by the lake, watching all the boats go out.

Food was great, the wildragout with mushroom sauce was yummy, but was understaffed during the lunch time. Need to wait for quite a while for ordering. Anyway the environment was also nice. The view outside was fantastic. A great place to warm the body and have lunch after stayed for a while in the freezing temperature.

Good location, food is okay, service is okay. We have waited for half hour with getting an English menu. Waiters and waitress are impatient with us. Always say wait a moment, it took half an hour. Until I gave tips, she was happier and asked everything ok. But she didn't come to the table to ask anything. Very very rude service Not friendly with non-German tourists

I ’m so lucky. Gulasch soup / Vitaminsalad / smoke trout / Fish filet with rice are delicious, not to mention the lake and mountains! Too good

Very nice place to stay. Food is ok, of course no star kitchen but still tasty. Stayed here twice but did not notice a reservation for the terrace. Seats again directly on the Königssee. Great view, a bit away from the awful Touri crowds.

Reasonable price but taste normal

A shop I like very much. It ’s the end of February when I visit. The weather is still a bit cold. Dining in a chalet is warm and comfortable, so remember to reserve a seat first. There is an electronic file of the menu on the website. You can choose your meal first. I think there are delicious apple rings, hot chocolate, tomato soup, and vitamin salad. Although trout is a must to eat in the Lake District, some of the unearthed taste of some companions will be seen.

Only stayed for a snack but still our favorite restaurant in the area. Great view and a little calmer. Especially in the evening the view of the sunset on the mountain is awe inspiring.
